University of Delaware has a policy (Section 6, paragraph D) allowing veterans who are receiving educational benefits through the GI Bill or family members of veterans who are receiving educational benefits through the GI Bill to be eligible for in-state residency classification immediately upon proof of residency in Delaware.
Delaware National Guard Tuition Assistance:
Up to 100 percent tuition covered at state colleges and universities or average of in-state tuition at private college or university in Delaware.
Eligibility: Any active member of a federally recognized unit of the Delaware National Guard, who meets the requirements for satisfactory membership as defined by the Adjutant General of the Delaware National Guard, shall be eligible for funding support by the Delaware National Guard for certain post-secondary education tuition and fees.
