Legislation
SB 117 allows any individual who is separating from the military forces of the United States with an honorable discharge or a general discharge to be considered a resident student for admission and in-state tuition purposes at an approved public four-year institution of higher education or in-state and in-district for admission and tuition at any approved public two-year institution of higher education.

Missouri Army National Guard
Tuition Assistance:

Before April 1, 2001, members are eligible to receive up to a max of 30 credit hours per academic year. Members who joined after April 1, 2001 and members with less than 10 years of service are eligible for 50%.
Eligibility: Missouri Army National Guard members without bachelor’s degrees are eligible for this program.

Missouri Air National Guard Tuition Assistance: Provides up to 100% tuition assistance. All members can get up to 15 credits hours per semester at the University of Missouri for a total of 10 semesters.
Eligibility: MO Air National Guard members.
