Legislation
HB 2158 provides veterans who were honorably discharged and have established a physical presence in Oregon within 12 months of being enrolled shall be considered an in-state resident for tuition and fees.

Oregon Veterans Tuition Assistance:
Rate of $50.00 per month for full-time undergraduate studies; or other studies at $35.00 per month.
Eligibility: Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces for not less than 90 days and received a campaign or expeditionary medal, or ribbon awarded by the U.S. Armed Forces and separation from military service under honorable conditions. Educational aid is not available for courses receiving Federal GI Bill or Vocational Rehabilitation benefits.

Oregon Veterans Loan Repayment:
Will repay student loans up to $10,000.
Eligibility: Army Reserves and National Guard Member.
